The Opportunity
We are looking for a 2nd Shift Coordinator to help support daily production operations and keep the shift running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

This is a developmental leadership position for someone ready to take the next step in their manufacturing career. You'll work closely with the Production Supervisor, leads, and operators to coordinate production priorities, solve problems, support employees, and keep work moving throughout the shift.

This role is designed to build the leadership and operational experience needed to grow into a future Production Supervisor opportunity. This position does not currently have direct reports.

🕒 Schedule
  • Core Hours: Monday - Friday, 2 PM - 10 PM
  • Status: Salaried, Exempt
What You'll Do
  • Coordinate daily production activities, resources, and priorities to help meet production schedules.
  • Communicate priorities and production updates across the shift.
  • Work closely with leads and operators to resolve production issues and maintain efficient workflow.
  • Help ensure job tickets, production records, and other required documentation are completed accurately.
  • Reinforce quality standards, customer specifications, safety expectations, and established production procedures.
  • Partner with Quality and other departments to identify and resolve production or quality concerns.
  • Support onboarding, training, and development of new and existing employees.
  • Assist the Production Supervisor with production reporting, timekeeping, temporary staffing coordination, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Assist with employee coaching, attendance follow-up, performance discussions, and other leadership responsibilities as assigned.
  • Develop leadership and technical knowledge through hands-on learning and progressively increased responsibility.
  • Help foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or lead experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and production software.
  • Ability and willingness to learn manufacturing processes, systems, and technical operations.
  • Someone who takes initiative, works well with others, and is comfortable helping solve problems on the production floor.
